The Magic Ferret | An Enchanting Film on Finding a Forever Home

As a pet blogger, I come across so many pets out there who are looking for their perfect forever home and family. There are also human children who are looking for the same thing. I was recently asked to review a short film called The Magic Ferret directed by Alison Parker. The movie is about a 6-year old orphan boy named Sam and his magical ferret, Booger.

The Magic Ferret is scheduled to debut at the Seattle Children's Film Festival in 2014. You can watch the trailer for the movie below or on YouTube here.

Isn't Booger adorable? He totally steals the show I think! Sam and Booger make a great team together and like to perform magic tricks. Sam is "The Great Sambini" and Booger is his assistant. Booger may not always get the tricks perfect which makes Sam worry that's the reason why they can't find a forever home.

Can Sam and Booger pull a miracle out of their magic hat? I don't want to give away all of the details or spoil the movie for you. The movie will not be out in theaters, but it can be purchased on DVD here. It's available for pre-order right now.

Booger and "The Great Sambini".

I loved watching The Magic Ferret with my 9 year old daughter, Lily. She adored the ferret in the movie of course, claiming he was just the cutest thing ever. He's also a pretty good actor! All of the cast did a great job actually. You can read more about the cast and crew of The Magic Ferret at the movie's website.

This movie is sure to put a smile on your face and will probably just melt your heart a little bit too. I truly enjoyed watching The Magic Ferret and know it will be a big success when it premieres at the Seattle Children's Film Festival next year.
