This Box Rocks! | PetBox Review and Giveaway

Shiner and I were asked if we'd like to receive a PetBox for review purposes. Shiner enjoys reviewing dog products when they involve treats and/or toys so she happily agreed. We're also super happy about getting to give away one of these wonderful boxes to a Pawsitively Pets reader! More on that later, so be sure to keep reading.

If you haven't heard of PetBox yet, it's a monthly subscription box for your dog or cat filled with lots of goodies. One thing that is unique about PetBox is that you get to pick what's inside the box. You can choose items that make sense for you and your pets. The PetBox company also feeds a hungry rescue animal for each PetBox that they ship out.

Each PetBox is filled with up to 6 items and is shipped after you order. You don't have to wait until a certain day of the month. Just order and wait for your goodies to arrive!

Want to know what we got in our PetBox? Take a look!

All kinds of awesome stuff! Here's the list of what was included in our PetBox:
I was really pleased to find all of these awesome products inside of our PetBox. We haven't tried all of the treats yet, but Shiner has already enjoyed some of them. She's never turned her nose up to a good dog treat, so I'm sure she's going to love them all. She already tried to eat those Healthy Dogma Pumpkin Ginger mini dog bones while they were still in the package!

She was also excited about the Aussie Naturals duck toy. The toy is tough for a hardcore chewer like Shiner. She was able to dismantle and un-stuff his head in about 30 minutes. The "guts" of this toy are not stuffed with the usual cotton fluff. Instead, they are filled with a straw like material. This toy's body was un-stuffed the next day. He's still mostly intact, except for his head and stuffing. I like this toy because it is pretty durable for my dog.

We've also been using the Earth Heart Canine Calming Spray. I will spray it onto Shiner's bedding every now and then and also rub some on her ears and chest. Shiner doesn't like it so much. Anything that comes out of a spray bottle is the bane of her existence. Regardless, I like this product and think that it smells nice.

I really like the idea of PetBox. It's a convenient alternative to going out the pet store and picking up treats and toys for your dog all the time. Why not just select a few of these items online and then have them shipped to your door all at once? You can always keep the fun coming by subscribing to several months of PetBox too.

I also love the fact that PetBox also caters to our feline friends! They not only offer subscription boxes for dogs, but cats as well. Our friends over at Brian's Home posted a great review of a PetBox for cats if you're interested in seeing what comes in those.

As promised, PetBox has kindly agreed to give away a one month subscription to PetBox for a lucky Pawsitively Pets follower! US residents age 18+ may enter. The giveaway starts now and ends January 28th. To enter the giveaway just fill out the Rafflecopter form below. As always, don't hesitate to contact me if you have any questions about entering. Good luck!

  1. We got one of those last month to review and liked it, but that duck was not good. Bailie ripped off and was eating the wings in no time, so we cut them off completely, then she gnawed the head until it popped off and it was full of straw like stuff. Other than that, it was a good box. Just watch the duck if you have a pet that chews.

    1. Yea, if you have a pet that will destroy stuff, the duck may not be perfect. Shiner destroys things, but she doesn't consume the parts she rips off or the stuffing that she pulls out thankfully.

  10. Looks like I need to look into a trial box. We have been using another monthly subscription but to be quite honest, the boys haven't showed an enormous amount of interest lately. Whoever was selecting the goodies for the box must be on vacation because it's not quite the same. Thanks for this post - it was right on time.

    1. Glad it was helpful for you! Some people like surprises and some would rather be in charge. PetBox is perfect if you want to select the things that are going into it.

  11. Mom used that calming spray stuff on me for my separation anxiety seemed to help. She is also still finding coconut fiber from the destroyed duck toy. Love Dolly
