Could Your Love for Your Pet Make Them Overweight? | #HillsPet Redefines Love

If your dog is anything like mine, then they probably like to look up at you with those big cute puppy dog eyes while you're eating dinner pleading for a little taste. True, I do give in to her cute tactics from time to time. Growing up, our family dogs got to eat our leftovers. They ate a lot of table scraps, and in turn they became overweight.

As a pet parent, it's important to us to show our pets that we love them. One of the easiest and most common ways pet parents do this is by giving extra treats or table scraps to their dogs and cats. After all, pets do love to eat! And they especially love getting an extra special tasty treat.

"Are you going to eat that?" It's hard to say no to this face!

Our pets depend on us to provide them with the food they eat. Sometimes, it's easy to go overboard with the treats and table scraps. It's part of our duty as a responsible pet parent to make sure our pets stay a healthy weight. Once a dog or cat becomes fat, weight loss can be a daunting task.

And that's where Hill's Prescription Diet Metabolic Weight Loss Solution comes in. The folks at Hill's understand that need to give your pet good food, treats, and still maintain a healthy weight. When you realize that your pet is overweight and you need to do something about it, it can be tough. Many pet parents feel like they are depriving love to their beloved companions when they go on a diet. With Hill's Prescription Metabolic Weight Loss Solution, it's not about withholding your love for your pet - it's about redefining that love.

This diet comes complete with a dry formula, canned food, and treats for both dogs and cats. This makes it easy to stay focused on your pet's diet. Overweight dogs and overweight cats are an epidemic in the United States right now. Together, we can try to make a difference.

    1. Lol, aw poor guy. Shiner loves to beg at the table too! Fortunately, she must have a high metabolism like her mommy. She did become a teeny bit overweight when she was younger, but that didn't last long as I set to solve the problem as soon as I could.

  5. We are fortunate to have very healthy dogs, it is so easy for them to put on weight, we have to be so careful.

  6. Does Shiner like waffles? The only people food I like is stuff that’s no good for me. Most of the time when I beg at the table, TW just lets me sniff what she’s having and I walk away.

  11. Our dogs are on grain free food and we never have any issues with them putting on weight even when they do get table scraps. Good food makes all the difference.
