Nap Interruption

Any time I try to take a picture of the rat boys sleeping, they immediately get up and run over to me.

This makes for a very sleepy looking rat. I wish I could get more sleeping rat photos (because they are adorable), but they are truly hard to come by!

Happy Wordless Wednesday!

  1. To see this cute nose is cool too :o) Think it's nearly impossible to take a photo of a sleeping rat, they have such highly developed senses that you probably need a magic hood to take a photo :O)

  4. Some of the pets I pet sit are like that. They move to me the minute they see the camera, or they turn their heads. Your babies are darling. I have a hamster, Winnie.

  7. Such a cutie! My cats are the same way. I have the hardest time trying to get a photo of them sleeping. They love the camera. I guess there could be worse things in life LOL

  10. Wonderful photo! I love seeing the whiskers that point down. :)

I agree it's hard to get photos of sleeping rats when they're young and so loving. I think it helps when spending several hours in the same room so they know you're not going anywhere and then they'll settle down to sleep again AFTER they've awakened and visited with you.

Thanks for sharing such a beautiful photo and thought!

    2. Thanks! They do live in my bedroom with me, although they cannot always see me. They can usually see the rat daddy when he's home though.
