Watching the Rain

Callie is an indoor only cat, but seems very interested in what's going on in the outside world.

For the past 2 weeks, there's mostly only been rain to watch. Her former mom says she does like to go outside a little bit, so we may try out a harness when the weather is nicer.

Happy Wednesday! Thanks to BlogPaws for hosting the Wordless Wednesday Blog Hop!

  1. A kitty can see a lot from the window. :)

  2. My gramma gave us a bird feeder a couple years ago. Mom has it hanging right outside the front window and the kitties love to sit there and watch birds. Maybe she would like something like that too.

    1. She probably would, except there is a lack of trees out there lol. There is a place next door that builds and ships cabinets. Her and Shiner always seems interested in snoopervising the going ons over there. Plus there are rabbits. ;)

    1. She has been outside before, but her former yard was a fenced in place that seemed safer than my giant jungle of a yard. She did go missing once for a week at her old home, and then decided to come back. I definitely don't want that to happen!

  5. Still, rain is better than snow... Good luck with the harness!

  8. It's raining here today. I can't complain though. It just means more snuggling! Hope the harness works out for you. I'm still struggling with that.

  14. Always great things to observe from a window like that, Callie! Sounds like you are not an escape artist like Maxwell! He is an indoor cat although he may disagree!

  16. First it was snow, snow, snow and now it is rain, rain, rain. We are anxious for spring and suspect that Callie is as well. XOCK, Lily Olivia, Mauricio, Misty May, Giulietta, Fiona, Astrid, Lisbeth and Calista Jo

  17. My kitties love to watch out the window too. I think it provides the perfect balance between the excitement of seeing the creatures outdoors and the comfort and safety of having a pane of glass between you and them. I'm glad Callie is enjoying the view (even if it is rainy).

  22. Outside is okay, Callie,,,,but remember,,,,,it looks better from inside than it really is. Most of all,,,enjoy being warm & cool depending on the season,,,,and always enjoy being dry !
