Pawsome Pet of the Week - Jax the Goldendoodle Puppy

Hello and welcome to this week's Pawsome Pet of the Week feature! You may remember that a few months ago I interviewed another Goldendoodle named Harley. Today, I'd like to introduce to you his new younger brother - Jax.

His full name is Jaxson Teller, named after the Sons of Anarchy character. (His Doodle Mom is a fan.) Jax is an F1 (first generation) Goldendoodle. He was born in the mountains of Blacksburg, VA on New Year's Eve 2014, and met his family on March 8th, 2015. Now he lives a few hours away from his birthplace in Northern Virginia.

Jax is the youngest Pawsome Pet that I've had the pleasure of interviewing thus far. I absolutely had to know what makes him Pawsome! Here's what he had to say -

"I'm fearless. I'll try anything. Let's see: in 5 short months, I've sprained my leg, made my older Doodle brother Harley like me, destroyed Doodle dad's garden, and tore my mom's dress BEFORE church. But I'm adorable so that's why they keep me."

Fearless daredevil AND adorable? Sounds darn pawsome to me! Jax claims that he has many activities that he enjoys, but so far his favorite two are "doodle romps with Harley" and "playing with the little humans next door".  Since Jax is young, I'm sure he's still working through his favorite foods. But he has taken a liking to a few interesting things.
"[My favorite food is] Everything! Right now I especially like cold watermelon and apple slices."
Other than playing with his pals and enjoying tasty noms, Jax is working on becoming an amazing jumper. I asked him if he had any special abilities, and he says he loves to jump!
"I'm a jumper! Love to jump. I'm learning how to jump straight up and grab stuff. I'm leaping on chairs, sofas, beds you name it. Oh, and because of all this jumping - I'm also spending a lot more "alone time" in my crate too!"
Jax admits that he's working on his manners. But in the meantime, his favorite thing about himself is that he's a happy Doodle.
"I'm always happy. I wake up happy. And I think that's why people around me are always smiling. Doodle Mom says once I learn some more manners, I will be the perfect candidate for therapy training."

It's great to have goals and I think that would be a perfect job for young Jax. If you would like to keep up with Jax and his older brother, Harley, you can find them over at their blog - Groovy Goldendoodles. Jax is also on Facebook, Twitter, and Google+. I can't think of any reason why you wouldn't want to follow adorable little Jax, so hop on over there and say hello!

Special thanks to Jax and his Doodle Mom for taking the time to be interviewed here! Make sure you stop by here next Friday for a new Pawsome Pet of the Week!
