Pawsome Pet of the Week - Jada the Chorkie

Our Pawsome Pet of the Week today is sassy and super cute! Her name is Jada of The Chesnut Mutts and she is a 4 year old Chorkie girl. A Chorkie is a mix of Chihuahua and Yorkshire Terrier for anyone interested in knowing. Jada lives in Rome, Georgia with her family.

"I have moved a couple of times, but I am still in Rome, Georgia. I live with my Momma, Pop Pop, Grand Mama, Uncle, sister Bailey, three other dogs, two cats, two rats, two snails, and one fish. It is a very full house, but it is never boring!"
Sounds like plenty of people and pets to get attention (and treats!) from. So what makes Miss Jada such a Pawsome Pet? Here's how she answered the question:

"Because I just am, duh! Lol, but I'm always smiling and love to do tricks for treats!"

Sounds legit to me! If you've never met Jada before, she does know a lot of really pawsome dog tricks. I think my personal favorite trick is her balancing trick.

"I can do a bunch of tricks, including high five, dance, speak, roll over, dead dog, play the piano, and even balance a bajillion tricks on face!"
You can check out more of Jada's tricks on her YouTube channel, but here's a good video of her balancing some treats on her head.

Like most dogs, Jada enjoys eating. A lot. She claims it's one of her favorite activities, but she has to be careful about what she eats.

"Does eating count as an activity? I also like to go for rides in the car and doing photo shoots. Now, if we did a photo shoot in the car of me eating something, that would be awesome! I really love anything natural with simple ingredients. I have lots of food intolerances that cause my ears to get infected, so I have to be careful what I eat. Momma makes sure I don't eat anything that is on the no-no list."
When Jada isn't taste testing delicious treats or balancing numerous foodstuffs on her head, she enjoys some good ol' fashioned doggy baby talk and scratches.

"I hate to admit this, but I LOVE when people use baby talk when they speak to me! And if they scratch my back at the same time- OMG, swoon!"
Along with being an educated trick dog and photo model, Jada has a "contagious" smile. She says that she loves that she is able to make people happy with her smile. I'll admit that I do smile a lot when I see her! Smiling must be contagious after all.  :)

If seeing Jada's photos and reading about her today have made YOU smile, you can visit her on her blog - The Chesnut Mutts - where she is a pet product review helper. Jada is also on Facebook, Twitter, and Instagram. Stop by and say hello!

And we will see you here again next Friday for a new Pawsome Pet of the Week!
