Pawsome Pets of the Year

During the year 2015, I introduced a fun feature to this blog - Pawsome Pet of the Week. I featured many pets on a near weekly basis, interviewing them in their own voices. I learned more about old friends, met new ones, and had a good time doing it too. I hope my readers enjoyed the interviews as well.

Our last Pawsome Pet of the Week was featured at the end of the October. So why haven't I interviewed anymore since then? Well, to be honest the holidays came around and I tried to secure a couple of interviews with no success. It's the holidays, people are busy (especially bloggers), and so I decided that maybe it would be best to give it a break.

Will I continue Pawsome Pet of the Week in the future? Yes - I think so. Except I want to do it a little differently and perhaps just have Featured Pawsome Pets whenever the opportunity is right. This gives myself and the featured pets a little more flexibility. I have learned a lot from doing a weekly interview in 2015 and it was definitely a worthwhile experience.

I'd also like to thank all of the Pawsome Pets of the Year. Thanks to all of you for allowing me to share your stories on my blog and taking some extra time from your busy schedules to be interviewed! Altogether, there were 43 Pawsome Pets featured here in 2015. Wow!

Here's a look back at all of the amazing dogs, cats, bunnies, and even a lizard that have made appearances on Pawsitively Pets in the past year.

I hope that I didn't forget to include anyone - there were so many of you! Also, some of the watermarks were cropped out out by my movie maker - I promise I did not intentionally do that! I've added website names to photos that didn't have watermarks so everyone can visit. If you would like to go back and read through all of the Pawsome Pet interviews, just click HERE

Here's to another year of making new friends and Pawsome Pets!

  16. I'm so proud my Gibson was named one of your "pawsome pets" and having just lost him to cancer, this video brought tears to my eyes to know he was recognized for being an amazing ambassadog for Canine Epilepsy and was loved by so many. This video is precious to me. Thank you from the bottom of my heart for including him.

    1. I'm glad that I got to interview him :) And I was so sad to hear that he was sick and passed so quickly... a couple of the Pawsome Pets that I've interviewed this year also passed away, and I'm glad to have had the chance to have "met" them or get to know them better.

  17. Aw, you didn't include my sweet Callie in your slide show. But being the Pawsome angel she is, she would forgive the oversight and so do I. Have a Merry Christmas!

    1. Oh no!!! :( I was hoping it wouldn't happen but with so many pets, I've been waiting for the comment from the person I inevitably forgot to add. I do remember Callie's interview, and actually remember coming across it during this. Not sure how she wasn't included in the slideshow. Hope you guys have a Merry Christmas too and thank you angel Callie :)

  18. I for one applaud you on this venture, and I've enjoyed reading and learning more about pets I've met through blogging and meeting more whom I didn't know before. I look forward to reading even more and I think the "spontaneity" of the posts will make it even more special.
