Vitamins for Dogs | NuVet Review

This post is sponsored by NuVet Labs. Pawsitively Pets only shares information we feel is relevant to our readers. All opinions expressed here are our own. NuVet Labs is not responsible for the content of this article.

Shiner is a senior dog and will turn 13 years old in March this year. She doesn't show many signs of slowing down at this point. I like to give my dog vitamins or supplements to help keep going strong and healthy. One kind of vitamin that I have given her regularly as a senior dog are joint supplements.

This month, Shiner has been taking some new dog vitamins from NuVet Labs®. Her new daily dog vitamins include NuJoint Plus® and NuVet Plus®. Both of them come in a chewable, flavored wafer form and I add them to her food everyday. They smell like a tasty treat, and Shiner doesn't mind eating them at all. By giving her daily vitamins, I hope to keep Shiner healthy for the rest of her life.

With so many dog vitamin and supplement companies out there today, I made sure to check that NuVet Labs was a legit company before deciding to try their vitamins with my dog. Apparently, NuVet Labs has been in business for 17 years and have helped more than 400,000 pets with a 100% safety track record.

Nuvet products are made in an FDA registered laboratory with natural, human-grade ingredients that are specially compounded for the most effective health benefits. Their products are also made in the USA. So after checking them out a bit, I decided Shiner could try out a couple of their supplements.

NuJoint Plus

This product is a hip and joint health supplement and natural anti-inflammatory. NuJoint Plus has been formulated by veterinarians and scientists to contain precise amounts of Glucosamine, chondroitin, methylsulfonylmethane (MSM), and Vitamin C.

Shiner shows very little signs of arthritis at her age. I had always assumed she would be more arthritic at almost 13, but she's proven me wrong. Yes, she is slightly slower and can't jump quite as high as she could when she was young. By giving her hip and joint supplements, I am helping to keep that painful osteoarthritis away.

NuJoint Plus is easy to give. I usually add it to my dog's food, but sometimes I give it alone as a treat. Shiner likes it both ways and think it tastes good. According to the label, I am giving her a loading dose to get her started with this supplement. She is taking 6 tablets a day. So far, so good!

NuVet Plus

NuVet Plus Canine Health Supplement is nutritional supplement that helps provide immune system support. It's a combination of vitamins, minerals, herbs, antioxidants, bioflavonoids, fatty acids, and amino acids. NuVet Plus is recommended for dogs of all ages, no matter how young or old. NuVet Plus contains natural ingredients with no artificial colors or flavors.

Again, I add this vitamin to Shiner's food once a day or just give it as a treat. Shiner only needs to take one NuVet Plus tablet a day. She enjoys taking her daily dog vitamin.

NuVet Plus is is more than "just another vitamin". It is the product of 8 years of research and development. NuVet Plus is a full-spectrum nutritional supplement that focuses on the root cause of illness and disease while simultaneously boosting a pet's immune system and health. NuVet Plus boasts that it can help your pet overcome illnesses, allergies, and diseases and help them maintain a quality life with good health.

I don't usually give these kinds of nutritional supplements to Shiner, but she could definitely use an immune health boost with her allergies. So I'm excited to be giving this supplement to her now.
