Don't have them around where I live. But as for caring for it, I have helped with a few wild bird babies before. What you can try is to get some dry dog food, let is soak in water, and then turn it into a mush. Get a small syringe, add some food and feed the bird the mush with the syringe just like its mother would. It was quite a merry-go-round. Fortunately his name was Bobbi so it didn't matter which sex we guessed he was from year to year. And, yes, we finally settled on he because he sang a male mating song. Obviously, my cockatoo was DNA sexed immediately so I didn't have to get on that uncertainty merry-go-round again!Anonymoushttps://www.blogger.com/profile/14410993180658480326noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-6382480381687088490.post-23486320348724135722013-04-27T08:53:17.624-05:002013-04-27T08:53:17.624-05:00Thanks for this information :o) As my mom was a pu...Thanks for this information :o) As my mom was a puppy her BFF told her that all blue parakeets are boys and the green are girls... both were totally baffled as they saw a yellow and a white parakeet...silly girls :o)Anonymousnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-6382480381687088490.post-49070492009091073932013-04-26T16:54:18.643-05:002013-04-26T16:54:18.643-05:00Lol - I do remember you saying that you had an ama...Lol - I do remember you saying that you had an amazon. I definitely have two roosters, since they had combs at about three weeks, and Frodo has been trying to crow since four weeks.
