Beautiful Butterflies by Purr Photography

Today, I want to share with you some beautiful butterfly tiles that I received from Purr Photography. I was introduced to Purr Photography through a blog titled "Cindy Lu's Muse" written by Kim Thomas. There was a giveaway on Cindy Lu's Muse and the prize was a collection of 4 beautiful tiles with butterflies on them from Purr Photography.

Purr Photography is owned by photographer and animal/nature lover Paul Blenkle. Paul and his wife are advocates for animal rescue and Paul volunteers his photography skills to help pets who need to find homes. Located in Northwest Chicago, Paul also offers event photography, senior photography, and family portraits in addition to pet photography.

My beautiful butterfly tiles from Purr Photography.
Since Paul can't travel everywhere to do photography, he has opened up an Etsy shop for Purr Photography to share some of his work with more people. There are some beautiful prints in the shop as well as these lovely tiles of butterflies and other nature shots. My favorite in the shop has to be the Butterfly Collection

The tiles are ceramic with a Purr Photography original photo fused to them. They have a super glossy finish to them too. Mine came with felt feet on the bottom, but you can get them without as well. They could even be used as coasters.

I have yet to decide what exactly I want to do with them. I didn't want to use them as coasters because I think they are just too pretty for that. Right now, I have them displayed on a shelf in my living room. My shelves were a little sparse with decorations so I think they look nice there. Maybe in the future I will have them framed or something. My dad has already given me a few ideas.

My new butterfly display on the shelf in the living room.

Lily, my 8 year old daughter, is the "butterfly queen" and loved them. Here are my two favorites from the collection.

The butterfly queen wasn't sure what type this one was.

Lily thinks this one might be a Question Mark, but isn't sure.

I had only been expecting to receive 4 tiles in the mail, but Paul was nice enough to send 5! I believe the one with multiple butterflies on it was not a part of this collection on Purr Photography's Etsy shop. Thank you so much to both Kim at Cindy Lu's Muse and Paul at Purr Photography for the beautiful butterflies! I love them!

Please keep Purr Photography in mind next time you need a great gift idea or if you need some photos taken in the Chicago area! And also Don't forget to check out Cindy Lu's Muse - it's a wonderful blog.
