Wordless Wednesday: Sad News

I did have a different post ready for today, but after I prepared it I discovered some bad news. I went out to check on the barn cats and as I was walking in the yard I came across Baby Frosty under one of the plant trailers. She had passed away.

I have been concerned about her because after my last update here, I think that I saw her maybe once about 2 weeks ago and that was only for a brief moment before she ran off. I believe she passed away maybe 2 or 3 days ago but I have no idea why. I do feel bad - guilty even - about her death and really wish I was able to have given her better.

RIP Baby Frosty

On the bright side, Honey Delite, the other barn cat is thriving and doing really well. I hope to give you an update on her next week.

Thanks to BlogPaws for hosting the Wordless Wednesday Blog Hop.

  13. I'm so sorry, Ann. What sad news.

Barn cats can't be protected as much as house cats. And they wouldn't want to be. Baby Frosty was lucky to have you looking out for her.

  17. HUGS. Outdoor cats don't have extremely long lives, but they do have wonderful freedom. I'm sure Baby Frosty enjoyed that freedom fully.
