Help Sister Rachel and Ray Charles Find a Forever Home Together

Many of you may have already heard these two kitten's story. If not, then I'm glad that word is spreading even further! These two beautiful black house panther kittens are seeking a forever home where they can live their lives together.

Their story begins as part of a feral cat colony in a trailer park in Greenville, SC. Some of the humans in the trailer park did not like the feral cat colony and would even try to run over some of the cats with their cars. Thankfully, Sister Rachel and Ray Charles were rescued from this evil place. They received medical treatment and now live in a foster home.

Both of the kittens were born with a condition called entropion. Entropion affects the eyelids and can cause some irritation and discomfort to the eyeball. Both kittens have had surgery for their entropion and are doing just fine now. Sister Rachel is able to see well. Her brother, Ray, may not be able to see quite as well but it doesn't stop him from being a playful and loving kitten.

Both kittens must be adopted together. They are up to date on shots, spayed and neutered, healthy, and even come with some special goodies. Transportation can be arranged to the right home in the United States.

If you would like to help these precious kittens, please share them with everyone you know! You never know who might be interested in adopting them. There is a flyer that you can print out and post in places like the grocery store, your local veterinary clinic, or anywhere really.

You can also follow Sister Rachel and Ray Charles on their Facebook page or at their blog - #TheFindingHomeTour. And please - spread the word and share! Thank you!

  11. I remember seeing these sweeties a while back at Brian's Home. I'm so glad they are in a great foster home now. I went and read up over there (at OneEyeOnTheFuture) to see how they're doing. Looks like they're making great strides, but still need a little more TLC, and they're in just the perfect place for it.
I pray they find a very special forever home soon. Thanks for helping to spread the word about these two kitties.

  15. Thank you so very much for posting about Ray Charles and Sister Rachel. I have been working very hard with Selina and Brian to find them their furrever home. We have a HOPE CHEST started, with Petsmart gift cards, new toys and 2 mos supply of gooshy goodness food...but we could REALLY use adding a whole 6-12 mos of free food to their HOPE CHEST if anyone knows any vendors who might make a donation. Just let Brian know, thank you...paw pats, Savannah

  16. I can't imagine who would purposely run over an animal, feral or not. I hope they find good homes.
