Pet Food Savings from Pet360 | Purina Pro Plan Select Grain Free Formula for Dogs

I've been trying a few different grain free foods with Shiner lately, because she gets the itchies sometimes. Thankfully, her itchy skin has really settled down during her senior years. I have really wanted to explore grain free dog food for her, so we were both excited to try some dog food from Purina.

Pet360 sent us some Purina Pro Plan Select Grain Free Formula Dry Dog Food to try out. Shiner has eaten Purina foods in the past, but has never tried anything from their Pro Plan line of dog food. Before agreeing to sample this dog food, I checked the first ingredient - "chicken".

Hmm... smells good!

Here's a little bit more information about Purina Pro Plan Select Grain Free Formula:

  • Has Omega-6 fatty acids and zinc for a healthy coat and skin.
  • Supports a healthy immune system.
  • Grain and soy free.

For Shiner, the most important part of any dog food review is the tasting part. Shiner genuinely enjoyed eating her Purina Pro Plan Select dog food. I also enjoyed it. I think her flatulence levels went down quite a bit while she was eating this food. And it certainly did not upset her tummy in any way.

If you'd like to give this dog food a try, we suggest stopping by Pet360 and picking up a bag. They also carry this Purina Pro Plan Select Grain Free Formulas in a canned dog food version at Pet360. Here are three tasty flavors:

  1. Many thanks for a great review, Shiner (hope Nibblet isn't sad now). I specially like grain free food, because of this farting-thingy and the noises in my tummy. Mom said, a good food has to smell good too. And when you say it smells good, then I bet it is really good :o)

  4. Katie has eaten regular Pro Plan and liked it. We don't do grain free as none of us need it at this point. Hope it helps him out with the itchies.
