We started Shiner's doggy spa day by applying some So Rockin' Clean Gentle & Freshening Coat Cleansing Shampoo to Shiner's fur in a nice warm shower at the spa (aka my bathroom). The shampoo lathered well and I didn't need to use very much with Shiner's short fur. The So Rockin' Clean Shampoo rinsed out well too.
Next up, Shiner was treated to a gentle coat massage with some of the Rockin' Paws So Smooth! Lightweight Coat Conditioner. This was an extra special treatment for Shiner as I usually do not use conditioner on her.
Both the Rockin' Paws shampoo and conditioner smelled wonderful. Nothing too strong or overwhelming. It just smelled fresh and clean to me.
After drying off a little bit in a nice warm robe, I applied some Rockin' Paws Rockin' Show Stopper Coat De-Matting and Shine Serum to her fur. This product provides deep conditioning and a lustrous shine and is enriched with natural oils and Vitamin E.
I also sprayed a little bit of the Rockin' Paws Shine on Me Coat Polishing and Detangling Spray onto Shiner's furs. Since Shiner doesn't have long fur that gets tangly, I can't really say how well these two products work for detangling long-haired dogs. But, I got curious...
After Shiner's trip to the spa, my hair was a hot mess. I sprayed some of the Shine On Me Coat Polishing and Detangling Spray on it and proceeded to brush. And guess what? It did work!
Shiner was less than thrilled with her trip to the doggy spa, as you can probably tell. She's just not into that girly stuff I guess. I on the other hand, did enjoy using our new Rockin' Paws grooming products with Shiner. Shiner's coat was left feeling extra soft, smelling good, and super shiny. Also, there was no residue left behind. Shiner was left looking like a superstar!
Going to the spa is ruff, but at least I look like a superstar now. I think I need some beauty sleep. |
Back in the day when I worked as a vet tech, I felt like a groomer half the time. There was hardly a day that didn't go by when I didn't have to bathe a dog. I've bathed all kinds of dogs with all different fur types and I wish that I had this product line back then to help me out. I just know the serum and sprays would have come in really handy.
Rockin' Paws was created by doggy mama Judy Arnold. She has two boys of her own, Monte and Pete. She created her line of Rockin' Paws to help out with the time consuming daily maintenance of having a long-haired dog. Judy's lightweight serum helped prevent mats in her dogs' fur and allowed for easier brushing. Rockin' Paws products are made in the USA, including all of the ingredients that go into them.

ReplyDeleteHaha well, all I just wanted to know! It says it is safe for dogs and people, and I trust these products so I don't see why it wouldn't be OK.
DeleteHave to say we would be the same. Peeps would enjoy it and I would so not be impressed. Have a terrific Tuesday.
ReplyDeleteBest wishes Molly
Great review! though Shiner doesn't look very thrilled :-) I'm always looking for something that really works at detangling Jeffie's fur, so I need to check out this brand.
ReplyDeleteGreat review but poor Shiner...she likes a "spa day" as much as I like a bath. How fun that you can use it on your own hair.

A few times I ran out of shampoo for my head and I looked long and hard at what I had in the house for Harley. This may be the answer to my problem should that happen again!
ReplyDeleteThat has happened to me before... wonder why I didn't think of that!
DeleteHoly cow! Look at the sparkle dust radiating from your clean self! I don't enjoy spa days either, but I have never radiated sparkle dust either! Sounds like a great product line.
