Summer is in full swing! And that's the theme for this week's 52 Snapshots of Life challenge - SUMMER. I've got a few photos I took this week of some of our Summer shenanigans.
Earlier this week, my daughters, my dad, and I visited a new store that was built nearby. It's called "Outdoor World" and it's a Bass Pro Shop. It's one of those outdoorsy camping supply places. It was huge! Probably the size of a small mall complete with a large fish aquarium, restaurant, and bowling alley.
We weren't impressed by the food, but it was a cool place to visit and gave the girls something to do.

And because this is a pet blog, one of my pets must make an appearance.
Since Callie is an indoor cat and doesn't enjoy the wild Summer outdoors very often, she's been brushing up on her reading and looking for fun indoor cat activities.
We hope you are having a fun Summer too!
It looks like a whole lotta fun at the fish tank!
ReplyDeleteThat looks like a really fun place.
ReplyDeleteyour photos are wonderful and your girls are GORGEOUS! (Including Callie!)

Great pictures Ann! We have one of those stores about an hour away from me. Hubs and I went one day and enjoyed the little wildlife area and the fish aquarium. Other than that, it was nothing special. Thanks for sharing your day with us!
ReplyDeleteMy cat bro Bert might be able to use that book! I hear those stores are huge, but we have never been in one.
ReplyDeleteThat looks like a fun day out! I hope Callie is enjoying her summer reading and indoor activities ;)
ReplyDeleteWe lived in Texas (DFW) for a few years and had a Bass Pro Shop near us but it wasn't as big as this one. Wow, a bowling alley!
ReplyDeleteCallie, did you find some fun things to do in your book?
That sure looks like fun. We have a place not far from us called Cabelas's. It's like that but more hunting oriented.
ReplyDeleteOh we have that here too, but it's further away. This store is definitely hunting oriented... hunting, fishing, camping, boating, etc... same type of place, just different name.
DeleteWe have those stores here too and Cabelas which is mom and dad's favorite. But they aren't dog friendly if you know what I mean. Enjoy the summer! Love Dolly
ReplyDeleteI saw dogs in this store!! Forgot to mention that. There was a total of 4 dogs that I saw while there. I thought it was pretty cool.
Deletegreat fun and great photos.
