Pawsome Pet of the Week - Phoebe the Ladycat

Welcome to another edition of Pawsome Pet of the Week! This week, our Pawsome Pet is Phoebe who is a ladycat of the young age of 13 years. Phoebe says that she is not any particular breed of cat, just her sweet self.

Phoebe lives in Ware, MA with her large family. She has a human mom and dad, and 14 cat siblings. Meowzers!

"I started life in a trailer with a lady who was going to abandon me ( I was expecting at the time). Mom wanted me the moment she met me, but Dad said no so I went to a foster home in Canton until my kittens were born. After I got fixed, Mom was able to adopt me."

And just what makes Phoebe a Pawsome Pet?

"I am a pawesome pet because I love all my 14 siblings. My folks call me Miss Congeniality. I am also lots of fun and very peppy. And I am a great writer- I write 2 posts a week for our blog, 15andmeowing.com.

I am sweet and can get along with any kitty- even Lucy (my mean older sister). I don't want to sound vain, but I am gorgeous. I have pretty soft fur and light green eyes."

With 14 siblings in the house, I imagine it must be quite a feat to get along with everyone. Phoebe is truly a sweet-natured lady!

Phoebe enjoys visiting with her Grammie, who always brings her a bag of treats to share with her fur-siblings. Her favorite treats include Friskies Party Mix Original flavor and cat grass.

"I love to nibble on my cat grass- until Mom forgets to water it and we need to start all over."

One of Phoebe's special abilities is pole dancing. Yep, that's right! Phoebe dances for treats on her cat pole. A ladycat has to get some extra noms somehow! She really know how to work her audience. :)

"I have many special abilities. I am quite the pole dancer- I even have a cup on my pole so I can get paid. As I mentioned earlier, I am a writer too.  I am also an actress, I get treats from Mom then when Dad comes in I act like I haven't eaten all day and he gives me more."

With such beautiful green eyes and luscious fur, you would expect that Phoebe would have a boyfuriend. And that she does! He is a younger man, but don't get the wrong idea and think Phoebe is a "cougar".

"I would like to share  that I love my purrince, he lives in Canada and writes me lots of poems. He calls me his purrincess. We started dating in February and fell in love. He is only a year old, but I don't think I am a cougar ( wrong colors). And I have a traveling bikini- it is going all over the U.S. and Canada- if you want to try it on, just let me know and I will send it to you."
