Using the Febreze™ Air Purifier to #KeepItFresh In My Home

This post is sponsored by Febreze ™ Air Purifiers and the BlogPaws Professional Pet Blogger Network. I am being compensated for helping Febreze Air Purifiers but Pawsitively Pets only shares information we feel is relevant to our readers. For 3 weeks now, I've been using a Febreze Air Purifier in my home. Specifically, in my bedroom to help reduce a multitude of odors and dust. I had a hard time choosing which room to put the air purifier in, but I chose my bedroom because I've been having odor issues in there lately.

My pet rats live in the bedroom, and their living quarters do not always smell like roses. Also, I thought having an air purifier might help with dust reduction which would be good for them. The Febreze Air Purifier's HEPA-type filter reduces up to 99% of air pollutants.

My dog, Shiner, also "lives" in my bedroom for the most part. She has her stinky dog moments and every now and then she has a pee accident on the carpet. That contributes to stinky household odors I definitely do not want.

But, my pets cannot be the blame for all the odors in my bedroom. I also live with a gym-rat boyfriend and a 3 year old toddler. I'm sure I contribute odors too.

Other than odors, I was hoping to reduce some of the dust in here. My bedroom does not have central heating or air, and it just always seems so dusty in here. I set the Febreze Air Purifier on my desk in hopes that it would reduce the dust population in this area. It comes in three sizes: Tabletop, Mini Tower, and Tower to meet room size needs. Mine is a Tabletop size.

My Thoughts on the Febreze Air Purifier

The Febreze Air Purifier comes with one Febreze linen & sky scent cartridge and lasts up to 30 days. The scent is very light and fresh. It's definitely not an overpowering scent. I noticed that as time progressed, the scent became less prevalent.

The Febreze Air Purifier has a scent control dial that allows me to control the amount of scent produced. I can set it to high or low based on my preferences. It's nice that it also has automatic scent cartridge and filter replacement reminders. Otherwise, I'd probably forget.

I think the size of the Febreze Air Purifier is just right too. The tabletop sized one that I have fits perfectly on my desk right next to my laptop. I sit at my desk often to work, so it comes in handy here. These things are perfect for dorm rooms, bedrooms, offices, living rooms, and anywhere that dust and odors make the space feel less than fresh and clean.

As for dust reduction, I think that after 3 weeks of use the Febreze Air Purifier is working well. Before placing it on my desk, I wiped all the dust off. (There was a lot!) I checked to see how dusty my desk was today, and the dust is almost non-existent. Almost no dust on my desk! The Febreze Air Purifier is working great as a household dust reducer.

In addition to the scent control dial, I can also adjust the power of the air purifier itself. There are three different power settings. I've been messing around with the settings for a bit, but it's been at the middle level for a few weeks now and seems to work well there for me.

I'm happy that I can breathe fresher and better smelling air while I'm in my bedroom now thanks to the Febreze Air Purifier. I may try the spring & renewal scent next when it's time to change out the scent cartridge.

The Febreze Air Purifier is conveniently available for purchase at Walmart and Amazon

    1. Haha - he probably would. That's Jack the mischief maker. Mostly I'd worry he'd chew up the cord, but he was under close supervision up there. :)
