For the past few months, I've been wanting to buy a nice big area rug for my living room. I've been on the fence about it though. Area rugs can be expensive and I thought that it would probably just get ruined quickly by the pets and kids anyways. I've had area rugs before, but those have already met their demise and have been disposed of. I was pleased when I was offered the chance to test out a RUGGABLE® 2-Piece Rug System. Perfect timing!
After reading more about RUGGABLE, I knew this was exactly what I was looking for in an area rug. RUGGABLE 2-Piece Rug System is a machine washable area rug. You can put it in your washing machine and dryer. For me, this is an amazing feature. It means I won't need to scrub surface stains, pay for expensive carpet cleaners, or replace the rug altogether.
Jeneva Bell invented RUGGABLE 2-Piece Rug System after purchasing an expensive rug that was difficult and expensive to clean. She needed to be able to clean a large area of carpet as easily and inexpensively as she could clean her bedding. RUGGABLE is the only rug solution that allows you to clean a large area of rug all by yourself at a reasonable price.

So how does someone wash and dry a large area rug, anyways? The RUGGABLE comes with a cushioned, non-slip rug pad that acts as a solid base to a variety of different stylish covers. The covers attach to the rug pad but can be easily removed, washed, and are interchangeable with different cover styles. The rug pad has a water resistant surface and is easy to wipe off.
You can see for yourself how it works in the video below.
We received a 5x7 RUGGABLE 2-Piece Rug System in "Tobacco" color/style. It's a neutral color and style, which I like. It doesn't feel flimsy when I walk on it, and it's actually much softer than the carpet it covers up. It really does stay put. I'm even able to vacuum it without any problems.
Our cat enjoys laying on it, as does Shiner the dog and the kids. So far, I have not needed to wash the RUGGABLE washable area rug so far. Go figure that as soon as I get a new area rug, everyone decides they are going to stop having drink spill and potty accidents on the floor. No complaints about that here though!
RUGGABLE 2-Piece Rug Systems are available in many different colors, patterns, and sizes. They are definitely a perfect must have item for pet parents and human parents too. I know this area rug is going to make my life so much easier! And my living room will look much nicer in the meantime.
If you are in the market for a new area rug, I recommend looking into getting a RUGGABLE. RUGGABLE is available at many different retailers including Lowes' California stores and joann.com, sears.com, kohls.com, diapers.com, and ruggable.com.
We received a free RUGGABLE in exchange for this blog post. Pawsitively Pets only shares information we feel is relevant to our readers. All opinions expressed here are our own. RUGGABLE is not responsible for the content of this article.
what a great idea! I always have to replace carpets because of the eau de wet dog... seems that could be a great alternative :o)
ReplyDeleteWhat a smart idea ! Great with pets and kids, for sure ! Purrs
ReplyDeleteThat's a clever idea for a nice area rug.....one you can toss in the washer - I would have thought it would be too flimsy but if you can vacuum it then it must NOT be flimsy! Interesting product for sure!
ReplyDeleteHugs, Pam
I also had the same thought at first. It stays on the rug pad and doesn't come up when you vacuum it. It's pretty cool!
Deletewhat a great idea
ReplyDeleteWe love rugs but only have a few tiny ones because of the washing issues. This looks really neat.
ReplyDeleteDang, I wish we would have thought of that!
ReplyDeleteguys...thanx for sharin bout thiz.....we will hafta tell de food servizz gurl ta look into this...thiz rug soundz awesum !!!❤️❤️❤️
ReplyDeleteI was just reading about this on another blog...it really sounds great! We've avoided throw rugs for a while but I would love to have some nice ones in the new house. I swear, you can have all wood and tile floors, but put a rug down and it's an open invitation for someone to have some sort of accident on it! LOL
ReplyDeleteThe kitchen and a few other places are wood/linoleum, but when Shiner has an accident it is always on the carpet.
DeleteNow that's a smart idea.
ReplyDeleteFor the way we yak on the carpet, we could really use this. Great idea!
ReplyDeleteWhat a terrific idea! Perfect in a house full of animals. :)
ReplyDeleteWhat a cool rug for pet owners! :)
