Attending My First #BlogPaws Conference

On Wednesday, I arrived in Phoenix, Arizona to join hundreds of other pet lovers at the 2016 BlogPaws Conference. I came back to my home in Texas yesterday, on Sunday. I have been blogging for almost four years now and it's always bugged me a little bit that I've never actually met the other people online who I interact with almost on a daily basis.

I had an idea of what I should expect, because I've followed the BlogPaws conference every year that I've been a blogger. Witnessing it in person is unbelievable though.

I met many pet bloggers who I've known online for years. I also met many pet bloggers that were new to me. I didn't know if I would be nervous meeting others or not. But, when you see someone you recognize it kind of just feels natural to walk up to them, say hello, and chat like you've known each other forever. Often times, you're greeted with a big welcoming hug too!

For today's post, I'll be focusing on the other pet bloggers I met. I took tons of photos and met lots of pet bloggers, but I know I'm still missing pictures of some people and their pets.

Coco the Couture Cat

I met Coco the Couture Cat and her human, Teri Thorsteinson. I love seeing Coco's photos online, but she's even more amazing in person.

Summer

I met the beautiful Summer of SparkleCat.com. She may have the softest fur of any cat that I've ever touched.

Spencer the Goldendoodle

So glad to meet handsome Spencer Goldendoodle too! He and his mom are a lot of fun.

Mr. N
Mr. N of Tenacious Little Terrier was a real pawty animal. He was definitely one of the best dressed doggies at BlogPaws.

Charlie and Harley

Charlie and Harley from My Dog Likes were a real treat to meet in pawson. These two handsome boys are as sweet as they look.

Bentley
Bentley and the crew from Barking From the Bayou were pawsome. We got such a kick out of Bentley's signature Basset Hound sit.

Rosy

One new friend that I met while at BlogPaws was Rosy from Rosy Reports. She's adorable!

Ralph

Ralph of Beagles and Bargains is truly a sweetheart. He wanted to share my coffee and gave me a couple of kisses.

Me and Little Oz's Ma
I finally met Oz the Terrier's Ma. We hung out in the Seresto Lounge often to keep recharged. Lots of thanks to Gina for helping keep the Seresto area tidy!

Jasper

Glad to see a RAT at BlogPaws too. Adorable Jasper of Healing Whiskers was representing for the small pets at the conference.

Kitty friends from Ask Fisher. I spotted a handsome orange kitty in a stroller and had to ask about him. Turns out, I might have missed them if I hadn't!

Kona
Kona of K9 Carry All always looked her best during the conference.

Sugar
It was a real pleasure to meet Golden superstar, Sugar the Golden Retriever and her mom. Sugar has lots of spunk even at almost 15 years old.

Carma and Bunny

Carma Poodale and her mom are pawsome to hang out with. Carma is a sweetheart!

I met so many more pet bloggers than just those that are pictured here. Going through all the photos, I realize I don't have many selfie-type photos with other bloggers. Either way, it was amazing to meet everyone and I haven't forgotten you.

I'll be sharing more later on about some of the things I did while at BlogPaws. I'll also post about some of the cool products that I learned about while there. Stay tuned for more!

  12. Mom Kim here - I was thinking the same as Tails From The Foster Kittens. But then I got to thinking - it is our pets that started it all really. I mean yeah, the people brought it all together physically but if each of us were not involved in some way with our pets - would there be a BlogPaws? Would there even be a pet blogging community? Seriously doubt it. I have been pet blogging since late 2009 and have met only 1 fellow pet blogger and that was at a sad time for me when Angel Shiloh was diagnosed with cancer at Kansas State Vet Hospital - would love to go to BlogPaws some year or just meet some fellow bloggers in a happier way. Can't wait to hear and see more about the conference.
