I know I haven't been blogging very long, and my archive may not have much to choose from, but since it's Meowtastic Monday I thought I'd share my top 5 cat related blog posts for 2012. Plus, it's a good chance for any new blog followers to check out some good articles that they may have missed before. The following are my top 5 cat related articles of 2012 in order of most viewed.
#5 Interview With Maggie: The Kitten With No Eyelids
Earlier this year, I got to interview Facebook star Maggie the Kitten. She is a kitten who, as the title suggests, was born without eyelids. Currently, she is on her way to having a surgery that will help her have eyelids again one day. If you've never heard her story, it's truly touching!
#4 We've Been Catified!
I was inspired by Caren and Cody from CAT CHAT to catify myself on an awesome application that they shared on their blog. It's the Purina Friskies "Catify Yourself" app. I ended up catifying my whole family and thought the results were just too cute and silly not to share with everyone. There are a lot of famous cats out there. This post is about five of my all time favorite famous felines. Who has made it on the list? You'll just have to read it to find out! I also enjoyed learning about who all of your favorite famous felines are from your comments.
#2 The Anipal Tribute to the 12 Days of Christmas
This post might actually be my personal favorite from every single post I've shared so far this year. It features so many of my kitty friends! The Colehaus Cats, Marg's Animals, Texas, Princess & Jabba, Alfie, Oscar the Fabulous Cat, plus more make appearances in the post. It always puts a smile on my face every time I look through all the pictures.
#1 Pet Blogger Gift Exchange - DogDaz
OK kitties, I know what you're thinking... yes the title is "DogDaz" but there are actually more cats than dogs in this post. I was paired up with the lovely Lorian of the DogDaz blog and got to learn so much about her small zoo of animals. There are 3 lovely kitties over at DogDaz and I got to familiarize myself with them during the Pet Blogger Gift Exchange.
