One of the definitions of the word "minuscule" (yes, this is proper spelling according to the dictionary) is "very small". These minuscule (VBP) lizards live all around my house. They are called anoles and can change colors from green to brown. I guess this one decided he wanted to be brown for the moment.

I've also decided to join up in the Vocabulary Builder Project Blog Hop which is hosted by Savannah, Jet, and Texas. If you haven't heard about the blog hop yet, be sure to check it out and link up! You may even learn some eloquent (VBP) new words.
As Jet's mom, Lori, suggested, I have been keeping track of words that I'm not quite sure of the meaning of and hope to use them in future VBP Blog Hop posts. I thought that today would be a good day to start since I had to look up the word minuscule in the dictionary.
Update: I posted the wrong photohunt word today! Oh well - maybe I should learn how to use a calendar properly... :-P

Well, I'm glad your turtles were able to help change your point of view!
DeleteWhat a cute little guy! We have lizards around house too. They are very concerned about fitness I think because they do so many push ups. I might like to chase them...please don't tell.
ReplyDeleteHaha, they do like to do that push up thing here too. And sometimes they poof out their necks and turn pink. I think it's pretty cool though.
