Fiesta Cats
I'm sure you all remember that last weekend was Cinco de Mayo. If not, you probably had too much tequila. Anyways, I came across Sparkle Cat's Sunday Catinee and enjoyed watching some cats (both big and small) whacking pinatas with their claws. If you haven't seen the videos and are looking for a good smile, head on over there and check it out!
Tasty Tuesday Treats from Sugar
Sugar the Golden Retriever's blog had some delicious looking doggy treats on Tasty Tuesday this week. If you don't know Sugar, be sure to visit. You will look forward to lots of tasty treat recipes on Tuesday and many other fun adventures. Anyways, back to the doggy treats. She shared a recipe for "Frosty Yogurt Berries Bone Parfait". Just looking at the pictures of the treats is sure to make your mouth water.
Speedy's Card and Gift Shop
Speedy and his mum have just opened their new shop over at Speedy's blog. Speedy's mum has a wide selection of handmade cards. Many of which feature none other than the adorable Speedy himself. I mean, just look at him! Who wouldn't want a greeting card with that face on it?

Word Verification and Captcha's Suck
If you're a blogger and you haven't yet gotten rid of your word verification or captcha on your blog, you need to send them to the guillotine immediately! Molly the Wally always puts a fun spin on things and this week was no exception. In her post "Dog House Blog, Heard the Word!" she shares just how fond she is of word verification.
If you're not sure what "word verification" or "captcha's" are then let me explain. You know when you try to leave a comment on a blog but you have to enter a series of impossible to read letters and numbers first? Yep - that's word verification and it just may be the bane of all blogger's existence. If you get rid of it on your blog, you will probably have many more people leaving comments for you.

DeleteI agree with getting more comments without captcha It's a pain in the butt, i know I've left blogs without leaving a comment because i kept getting the stupid word wrong.

ReplyDeleteI hate those captcha's too! As I commented on Molly's blog though - I recently discovered that on the ones that have both a word and an impossible-to-see #, you only have to enter the word. I completely skip trying to guess at the #, and it still works.
What? I never knew that! The numbers are the hardest part! Why would they even put the numbers if you don't have to enter them?
