Then I started seeing a blog hop that is hosted by Dogs N Paws that supports pet adoption. I've decided to turn my "Spotlight Sunday" into an adoptable pet day. I haven't really done Spotlight Sunday in... well, forever but it's been on my blog "schedule" almost since I started blogging.
Anyways, I'd also like to thank Brian and his dad from Brian's Home for giving me some advice about sharing adoptable pets on my blog. So, without further adieu here is my very first featured adoptable pet - Angie!
Angie had a rough life at her previous home and is now being fostered by someone through Wee Rescue in Austin, Texas. Here's a little bit about Wee Rescue from their website -
"Wee Rescue is dedicated to rescuing Lhasa Apsos, Shih Tzus, and Pekingese from the Austin Animal Center and other shelters and facilities in the Austin area. Our mission is to place homeless dogs into local loving, permanent homes."Angie is a Shih Tzu that is about 10-12 years old. She was neglected in her old home and had to have all but 2 teeth removed. She still enjoys eating 3 meals a day! Just check out sweet Angie in action -
If you are interested in adopting precious Angie, you can view her Petfinder page here.

So glad to see you doing this and joining the Tuesday Tails hop! Sharing.

We hope Angie finds a home soon. We are trying to convince our Lady we need a 3rd, but she says that use 2 and Emma for the summer is enough! Lee and Phod
ReplyDeleteHehe - I may have to agree with your Lady. Maybe when you guys are senior dogs and you need a youngster to keep you on your toes ;)
DeleteThis is so great that you are doing this. We do it a lot and sometimes it seems like it is really not worth it, but you just never know when someone is going to see that special dog or cat and just have to have it. So we are glad you are giving it a try. Angie is too cute. Hope she finds a home really soon.
ReplyDeleteThanks Marg - I can kind of see what you mean, but you are right. Someone may see it out there! I sure hope so anyways, it's worth a try. I've wanted to do this for awhile but just wasn't sure how I should go about it.
DeleteI hope Angie finds her furever home soon, will share.
