I was asked by Fotor.com to try out their online photo editing website and share my experience. I use photo editing tools for my blog on a daily basis. Besides that, I have human kids who I love taking photos of. I need something that's easy and fast to use and Fotor delivers.
I'm going to share a few things I created using Fotor's online photo editing website tools. First up, I made a Holiday greeting card featuring Shiner. The process was super simple and there were lots of nice templates to choose from featuring different holidays.

Fun shape collage. |
Featured below is Fotor's "Stitched Photos" effect. For some reason, I really like this one. You can stitch as many photos as you want together either vertically or horizontally.
And of course, Fotor offers good ol' collage templates! I love collages and I think they are a great way to add more pictures to my blog posts without "overdoing" it. Sometimes it's hard to choose which photos I want to use because they are all so cute! A photo collage allows me to display my favorites within one image easily. And Fotor offers a large variety of collage templates.
I love collages! Sorry, no pets in this one. Just my adorable children! |
Another thing I really like about photo editing is "stickers" or clip art. They are graphics that you can add to photos or images. These are a lot of fun and the types of images you can create are endless. I use stickers and clip art for all kinds of things. Fotor.com has a huge selection of clip art! Many of which I have never seen on other photo editing websites or software.
Queen Nibblet loves her crown and jewels stickers. |
There are a lot of other features on Fotor like adding text to photos, frames, and special effects. I have yet to try everything, but have already added this photo editing website as one of my favorites. Oh, and everything on Fotor is FREE.
There are a few things that bugged me while trying to edit photos. Once you place a sticker or graphic on a photo and click OK, I think it's there for good. And the "undo" button doesn't seem to be working for me. This makes corrections and minor adjustments slightly difficult. Other than that, I can honestly say I love it and definitely recommend it to anyone - blogger or not.

ReplyDeleteI use picMonkey and Ribbet, so will definitely give Fotor a try!
ReplyDeleteI use PicMonkey a lot and have used Ribbet in the past. Fotor has a lot of options that neither of those 2 have. Have fun Austin!
DeleteI just saw this a few days ago on Cat Chat and tried it out. I usually use PicMonkey for my collages but you have to pay to use the good stuff. I'll have to look at this one again.
ReplyDeleteFotor has more collage options than PicMonkey. Have fun!
DeleteThose are really cute. My hamster had a crown made out of foam, glitter and plastic jewels when I was little. He was so cute and even knew how to take it on and off.
ReplyDeleteThat sounds awesome! Lol... I doubt that Nibblet would wear one in real life for very long though.
DeleteI've been using PicMonkey, but this looks like a great one to try too. I've been thinking I want to make a Christmas card with the animals this year, which I haven't done for a while, so I might try that to start with.
ReplyDeleteThat sounds like fun Jan. Good luck!
DeleteWe downloaded the other day, haven't had time to try it yet. It looks super cool :) xxoxxx
ReplyDeleteMollie and Alfie
Have fun guys, it is pretty super cool!
DeleteToo cute! That shape collage is especially nice. :)
ReplyDeleteLove queen Nibblet. So cute! I just started PicMonkey. I like it for some things but, even with the subscription, the photo adjustments you can make are not as detailed as I can do in Photoshop...and I basically have no clue how to use that :)
ReplyDeleteYea, there are some things in Photoshop that I just love.
DeleteThis is just what I was looking for. I'm going to try it for our Christmas photo since I don't seem to be able to take a photo of all of us together, I'll just collage it! Thanks, Ann.
ReplyDeleteHope it turns out good for you Lori!
DeleteCute pics! Photo editing is so much fun!!!
ReplyDeleteSounds like a great place to edit photos. I will have to try it. :)
