I tried to take some photos of Shiner in front of the tree. For some reason, this is always so difficult. She doesn't sit still. It also probably doesn't help that the lights were turned off in the room and it was night time... I'll have to try again some other time.
It's a little blurry as you can see, plus Shiner seems a little preoccupied with something going on in the kitchen. Better luck next time!
I decided to have a little fun and see what Shiner would look like as Rudolph the Red-nosed Reindeer. She's glad I did this dressing-up with the computer and not in real life. What do you think?
Lily and I had fun decorating our tree together, and I plan to get some photos of Nibblet climbing around in it. She should have fun doing that like she did last year. Here's a full photo of our Christmas tree that I took with my phone so you can see the whole thing better.
Hopefully, all of our friends out there are having a fun holiday season so far. I know some of our friends celebrate other holidays besides Christmas. Also, it's very cold out there and I hope that everyone affected by these winter storms is staying safe, dry, and warm.

That is a lovely tree and we think Shiner makes a very cute reindeer. We got our tree done yesterday.

ReplyDeleteI agree, removing the lights and the decoration is the worst :o) I need hours to storage the lights in their box :o) It's a very nice tree and I bet Shiner aka Rudolphy will like it.
ReplyDeleteBOL! I help set up the tree just like Shiner....Zzzzzzzzzz. Yep, wake me when it is over. You let Nibblet climb around in the tree? I am sure that is fun for her to do but is it safe, what with all the light wires around? Do rats nibble on wires? I would be afraid for her, I think.

She doesn't nibble on wires when she's out. I'll only put her in there for a few minutes for a photo shoot, so she'll be supervised. Some rats may nibble on wires. Good eye Oz!

ReplyDeleteIts a very pretty tree! Pre-lit never have enough lights on them for mom, she wants about 1000 lights even if she has to put them on and take them off every year! Love Dolly
ReplyDeleteBeautiful tree! I like the pre-lit ones too. Regarding Shiner's reindeer costume. It's perfect! I bet Maya & Pierson wish I had done a computer generated one instead of putting the antlers I got from Petco on them. ;)
