Gorgeous House Panther Seeks Forever Home

Since June is Adopt a Cat Month, I wanted to share a very special ladycat today who is looking for her forever home. Her name is Scuttles. Many of you may have already heard of Scuttles' story at Brian's Home, but if not you can read all about it here.

Scuttles made herself at home on a farm in South Carolina. At first, she was shy but now she is a sweet loving cat after a little bit of attention from her caretaker. Unfortunately, Scuttles was hit by a car one day. She underwent surgery for broken bones in her pelvis and hip just over a month ago now.

Scuttles has recovered well, and is not incontinent and does not have any issues with her bowel movements. Her back end is a little weak, which is to be expected right now but she can still walk and stand. Mostly, she has been glad to receive some extra human attention and love.

Scuttles desperately needs a new home. The farm that she lives on is not a safe place for her to return to once she recovers from her surgery, which will be soon. There are coyotes and lots of traffic in the area. All Scuttles really wants is a family to call her own and a place that she can live safely indoors.

Scuttles is spayed and she is a young cat, estimated to be just over a year old. If you can help Scuttles, please contact Terri at brian (at) brianshomeblog (dot) com. Transportation can be arranged! Please help us spread the word and find this gorgeous house panther a safe place to live. Thank you!

  6. She is beautiful. Black cats often have the silkiest fur! Hope she finds a good home. We are up to our whiskers in pets with three dogs and two cats, but if we needed a cat, we would consider her. Shared the post.
