PetBox is a monthly subscription box for dogs and cats. They offer a wide variety of subscription plans for everyone. Prices range from $9.95 for Snack Plan to $59.95 for a Mulit-Pet Plan. You can choose to customize your PetBox and choose which items you want in it, or you can opt for a surprise box if you prefer.
As a PetBox Spokesdoggy, we get to offer our readers a chance to win their very own PetBox for their dog or cat. Keep reading to find out how you can win this month. But first, let's get to the good stuff and take a look at what's inside our October PetBox.
- Hatchables Turtle - This inside out dog toy is made by Fetch Pet Products. At first, the toy is an egg and then you can flip it out and it's a turtle! It's a super cute toy and it's Shiner's favorite item this month.
- Natural Balance Original Ultra Whole Body Health dog food - Yesterday, we shared a blog post about this food which you can read here if you missed it.
- Old Mother Hubbard's Soft Bakes - These dog treats smell SO good! I am tempted to try one myself. Another favorite of Shiner's this month. They are very soft and chewy.
- CMR Joint Health Formula for Dogs and Cats - I can't find any information for this joint health supplement online. The bottle comes with 90 tablets and is labeled for use with both dogs and cats.
- Treat Simple Peanut Butter & Banana - This is a very big box of small dog treats. They are low-calorie and look like a perfect training treat size.
- Smart n' Tasty - Shiner actually tried these treats several months ago and enjoyed them. We received the tuna flavored treats in our PetBox. They are made in the USA with all natural ingredients.
Overall, we are very pleased with our October PetBox. I love it when there is a toy included in the box and so does Shiner. It's also nice to receive some joint health supplements along with LOTS of treats. Shiner definitely appreciates those!
Also, this month I decided to take a video of Shiner and I un-boxing our PetBox. It's something I've been meaning to do for months now. I feel like I seem "cranky" in the video, but I promise I'm not! I'm new to the whole video thing, so maybe I'll do better next time. I guess that's just how it came out and I wasn't up for re-doing the whole thing all over again. You can view the video review here if it's not working below.
If you'd like to order a PetBox subscription for your dog or cat, you can save 10% on your order by using the special discount code "PAWSITIVELY" at www.getpetbox.com.

As a PetBox Spokesdoggy, Shiner receives a PetBox each month at no charge in exchange for an honest review of the service. All opinions expressed here are our own.
It's kind of scary that nobody there takes time to check expiration dates. That would sure be a red flag.
ReplyDeleteIndeed Brian. I used to be very diligent in my expiration date checking, but it seems in recent weeks I've fallen off myself. I don't know if the date on the bottle is an expiration date, or manufactured on date but until I know more I will assume it's an expiration date.
DeleteUpdate - the date is a manufactured on date, so this product is safe. Phew!
DeleteWhat a great PetBox this month Shiner! Bravo for you.......eeeek on the expired supplements - good thing you checked!
ReplyDeleteHugs, Sammy
Good news! They weren't expired. Because they are supplements, they are not legally allowed to add an expiration date. The date on the bottom is a manufactured on date.
DeleteScooter loves getting packages
ReplyDeletehow great that you have a turtle friend now too and even one who needs no hibernation like Hell-mut!
ReplyDeleteWho wouldn't love getting a package all for themselves?! :) Melvin loves new treats and toys!!
ReplyDeleteI think a dog themed PetBox would be a huge treat for our three English Shepherds. They love treats and toys. But then Traveler would love a cat themed PetBox too so either one would work for our family.
ReplyDeleteMy pugs would love another petbox. The idea of getting new treats and toys each month. Awesome
ReplyDeleteI think you did great in your video! We didn't even look at the expiration label on the Joint Health Care bottle because I don't use them on Harley yet. I will double check when I go downstairs. Thanks! Also, I received my "hands free dog walking thing yesterday - I ordered it immediately after reading your post. Can't wait to try it out. Will be so much easier taking photo's now while I walk. Thanks so much for posting that Ann.
ReplyDeleteAwesome! I also hadn't checked because I hadn't used it yet. Another spokesdoggy asked me about it. I hope the Buddy works out well for you guys!
DeleteMy kitties love toys, so I'm sure they would like a new one.
ReplyDeleteBecause it is a box full of stuff just for her...she'd go nuts :)
ReplyDeleteMy cat loves treats! She'll attack me for them.
ReplyDeleteI don't care what the dogs get, I want that turtle, lol
ReplyDeleteGreat box ! Good luck to our US furriends ! Purrs
ReplyDeleteWe took a vote and decided that we think you're not cranky in the video!! :) But it must still be hot where you live!!! I wonder if there is such a thing in the UK? Must check out!!
ReplyDeleteMOL! Well thank you Austin :) I appreciate the feedback. And yes, it was very hot that day.
DeleteHoney briefly had a subscription box and her favorites were always the toys. They last a lot longer than the treats do. :)
ReplyDeleteLol, Shiner is not as forgiving with her toys!
DeleteMy kitty-boy would love one of these because he loves new things and he loves to play!

ReplyDeleteMy 3 year old Miniature Dachshund, Audrey, LOVES getting packages, she thinks EVERYTHING new brought into the house is for her, and when it actually is, she goes nuts! Sch
ReplyDeleteMy pets are always interested on trying new treats and toys.
ReplyDeleteWhoa, for a Texas girl, you don’t have much of an accent; in fact, you said “joint” like a Jerseyite. MOL! I’ve found that when I go to Blogpaws, booths seem to hand out expired product. I loved my first pet box (especially the box) and would love another one.
ReplyDeleteLol really? I definitely do not have a heavy Texas accent like they depict Texans on TV haha. But I thought I could notice it a little bit on the video. Fortunately, the bottle wasn't expired and it was a manufactured on date.
DeleteMy dog would love to try this because she is intent on sampling every treat in the world.
ReplyDeleteThat turtle is so awesome - and I know Laika would go crazy for all those great goodies.
ReplyDeleteMy cats and dogs would all love the box for the toys it contains.

ReplyDeleteWell, thank you! I think I need some video practice myself haha. Would be interesting to see how you guys manage to do it without Sugar's mom!
DeleteMy dogs *love* getting new toys and treats. Plus, I often discover new products in PetBoxes, that sometimes turn into regular purchases for them.
ReplyDeleteMy doxie would love a pet box - it'd be like CHristmas come early!
ReplyDeleteMy kitties would love a PetBox! We have 5 in our crew so they all like different things. I know Abe will go for the new toys and Indy enjoys his treats ( a little too much) :) everyone else will probably love the box itself lol- that's a cat for you!
ReplyDeleteI think my dog, Kouga would love the PetBox because he enjoys new toys and treats. He didn't have toys before we adopted him, and now he loves them.
ReplyDeleteMy dog Lily would love to try the items in this box. I love discovering new products for her.
