Planet of the Dogs Book Series Giveaway

Over a year ago, I was first introduced to the Planet of the Dogs book series written by author Robert McCarty. There are 3 books total in the series and they are a great read for both children and adults alike.

"The Planet of the Dogs series of children's books tell the stories of the first time dogs came to Planet Earth to teach people about unconditional loyalty and love -- and to help bring peace from invaders."

In this book series, the first dogs are sent down from the Planet of the Dogs. On their home planet, they live in places such as Poodletown, Muttville, and Shaggy Corners. On Earth, the humans begin to realize that dogs are quite useful and make great companions. But, there are still some characters in the books that are scared of the unknown and less accepting of the dogs.

The illustrations in the book by Stella Mustanoja McCarty add a nice touch to the stories as well. After all, who doesn't love reading a good book with nice images to go along with it?
