Happy Earth Day! For today, I thought I'd simply share some photos I've recently taken that show our beautiful planet and the special life that inhabits it. We've got a lot of wildlife around here where I live, and beauty is all around.
These are Cardinal eggs that I found while photographing some roses. The Cardinals decided to make their nest in a rose tree. I need to check on them again soon to see if they've hatched yet.
And speaking of roses, we have plenty of those...
In just about every color...
And the Texas State Flower, the Bluebonnet, is in abundance on every roadside.
Shiner may not be part of the wild fauna around here...
But she sure does enjoy running around in her green grass and wildflowers.
We hope you all have a pleasant Earth Day and enjoy all the happiness that nature can bring!
our earth can be so beautiful, so we all should help to protect it :o)

Birds eyes are so beautiful - so many colors.........and your roses are amazing - we're nowhere NEAR rose blooming here - still too chilly and Spring is still struggling a bit. Happy Earth Day!
