Koda lives with his family in Ottawa, Ontario. Koda is not really sure where he's from originally. His mom saved him. Supposedly, his original owners didn't want him anymore since he was no longer a cute little puppy. Personally, I say that's nonsense! Koda is just as cute as ever.
One of the first questions I asked Koda was what makes him a Pawsome Pet.
Sounds pawsome to me! Koda is one special pup, indeed. Koda's favorite activities include playing with his mini humans and claims that he is a "very playful pup" and has "lots of energy to burn". Anytime his humans pull out a stick for playtime, he's game."I think I am a pawsome pet because of the love I have to give, and my ability to learn new things super fast! I have an unbreakable bond with my mini humans (the human children) and we play all day long. Mom likes to tell me that sometimes she thinks I just have too much love to give. She mostly says it when I put my big old wet nose in her face in the mornings. Little does she know, if I didn’t do that, she would probably sleep in all the time!"
While Koda may not remember what his life was like with his former human family, he sure does have a good life now. His favorite food to eat is fresh fish, which his humans catch for him in the summer. (Sounds like he has them trained well!)
Koda also shared with me that he has the special ability to learn new things very quickly."My favorite food has to be when my humans go fishing in the summer, and they bring back fresh bass for me to eat and my fur-siblings to eat. There’s nothing like freshly caught fish!"
Very intelligent dog indeed! Koda is also a very confident boy. When I asked him what his favorite thing about himself was, his reply was "Everything!". There's no shame in being a proud boy doggy when you're as handsome and talented as Koda is."Well, my mom always says I’m special, but I think that is when she is making fun of me! But as for special abilities, I am told I have an amazing ability to learn things quickly. I am an eager learner you see, so I pick up on things fast. If I see my humans do it, I can do it: such as opening doors, closing cupboards, jumping up to the sink when I’m thirsty…"
"I am so happy to be where I am now, so everything has gone according to the “big guy's” plan I think. I was meant to end up here with my family. I am loved unconditionally, I am well taken care of, and hey, I star in a blog!!! What could be better??"Not much! :)
Special thanks to Koda for taking the time to answer our interview questions today. You can find Koda over at his blog, Love Is Being Owned By a Husky. He's also on Facebook and Twitter!
