Happy National Teddy Bear Day

September 9th is National Teddy Bear Day. We certainly have an abundance of teddy bears over at our house. I brought out a few of my favorites for this special occasion. Can you spot the impostor?


Shiner was SO happy to have some new friends to snuggle with. Well, kind of... I keep the Care Bears out all the time for my 3 year old human girl to play with.


The Beanie Babies are part of my collection and I have to put them away or she will rip all of their precious tags off. Yes, I collected Beanie Babies with my Mom back in the day when they were going to be worth "so much money". I have way more than what's pictured here, but I thought this would be plenty for our photos today.

    I love Shiner new Teddy Bear head! That is so cute! Where did you get it ..I would love one for my grandson.

      Thanks! It's actually a monkey hat, but it looked just like a teddy bear. My oldest daughter's school has a Christmas shop where they can buy presents for family members. She bought the hat for her little sister last year.

    I love that first photo, because I didn't see Shiner at first! I used to collect Beanie Babies too! I sold most of my collection though, at a great loss of course. LOL
