She went a little crazy and kept popping up at me while I was trying to spread the Christmas tree branches out. She hasn't tried to climb the tree again since the weekend, that I've seen at least. Maybe she got the Christmas tree crazies out of her system! Now, I just catch her sleeping under it periodically.
What does your cat think of the Christmas tree?

That was too much fun! You should always have a Christmas tree in the house for Cali.
ReplyDeleteLoved it!
ReplyDeleteCallie sure had fun with the set up! I am hoping my human gets a tree up after this weekend.
ReplyDeleteCallie had so much fun ! We love our Christmas tree too, and we love to play with the cat-proof unbreakable ornaments ! Purrs
ReplyDeleteSome of ours are unbreakable, but many aren't. They are basically just a collection of ornaments from over the years. Some are more than 30 years old!

ReplyDeleteYes! That was the best part! She kept trying to get me while I was fixing the branches lol. Glad I got one shot on camera.
DeleteCallie, you sure did a great job of helping! Our cats don't climb ours, either, but they all love sleeping under it. :)
ReplyDeleteOur cats don't really bother the tree, but they will go after any low hanging ornaments.
ReplyDeleteErnie has been known to climb our tree...though he hasn't done it this year...yet.
ReplyDeleteWhat a fun video. We are kind of the same way -- but we never tried to climb it! We were very interested in the tree the first day but now we just occasionally lay under it.
ReplyDeleteso it's true - cats really do try and climb Christmas trees? I thought it was just a myth...
ReplyDeleteMy cats like to climb up the tree and knock our decorations off! Grrrrrr!
ReplyDeleteღ husky hugz ღ frum our pack at Love is being owned by a husky!
Callie, you are adorable sweetie and you are making your Christmas memories girl!
ReplyDeleteShe is so cute. I'm sure she will be fine with the tree now that it isn't new anymore.
ReplyDeleteMy cats are both 10 now. Their first Christmas season, I regularly came home to a tree on the floor on it's side, and ornaments all over the house. I could just laugh.
ReplyDeleteGood job Callie! The tree skirt under the tree is a very popular napping spot in our house for dogs and cat! Mom's old cat Saffie preferred to be under the skirt though. Love Dolly
