Get Ready for Kitten Bowl III Game Day

This post is sponsored. We are being compensated to spread the word about Hallmark Channel's Kitten Bowl, but Pawsitively Pets only shares information we feel is relevant to our readers.

This Sunday, people will crowd in front of their TV's to tune into the Super Bowl. I personally don't have much real interest in Football to be honest with you. I will watch but I'd usually rather be doing something else. I don't keep up with it much.

However, when you combine the idea behind football and the Super Bowl with adorable kittens and cats you can bet I'm in. This Sunday, February 7th at 12 PM ET/PT, 11 AM CT, Su-Purr Bowl Sunday kicks off with Kitten Bowl III

What is the Kitten Bowl? It's a Hallmark Channel special event featuring the nation's most adorable, athletic, and adoptable kittens and it's back for the 3rd year in a row. Beth Stern, TV personality, author, and animal advocate, returns to host this year's Kitten Bowl. Play-by-play announcers include John Sterling and Mary Carillo. NFL MVP, Boomer Esiason, will ensure that all players play by the rules as the FFL (Feline Football League) Commissioner.

For Kitten Bowl III, Hallmark Channel continues its partnership with North Shore Animal League America and Last Hope Animal Rescue and Rehabilitation. All participating adoptable kittens will find forever homes once the games conclude. The Kitten Bowl franchise is part of Hallmark Channel's "Pet Project" initiative to celebrate pets and bring light to the plight of shelter pets and the incredible joy adopting a pet can bring to our lives.

I will be tuning in this Sunday to the Hallmark Channel to watch these furr-ocious felines get their claws dirty. In the meantime, there are a few ways I'm preparing for the big game.

Kitten Bowl Emojis

I love emojis. When I learned that there were Kitten Bowl Emojis available for download via the Apple App Store and Google Play Store from Snaps mobile messaging platform, I downloaded them to my phone. The Kitten Bowl III emoji keyboard includes emojis of the Kitten Bowl cat-letes, coaches, and GIFs of the players in action.

The Kitten Bowl Emojis can also be used in top messaging apps like What's App, Facebook Messenger, and iMessenger. I tested them out by asking my 11 year old daughter if she was going to watch Kitten Bowl III.

Cat-Lete Card Creator

After downloading the Kitten Bowl Emojis and texting all your friends about Kitten Bowl III, you can head over to the Cat-Lete Card Creator and create a player card for your own furry feline friend. Just upload your cat's photo, fill in their information, and share! Super easy.

I created a card for Callie. Some of the information that shows up on the card appears to be generated randomly, like her quote and demeanor. They are fun to make!

Tune Into Watch Kitten Bowl III

After preparing for the games this week, I'm excited to watch Kitten Bowl III. The best part about these games is that everyone will end up a winner. I'm rooting for all of the players! Kitten Bowl III airs this Sunday, February 7th at 12 PM ET/PT, 11 AM CT on the Hallmark Channel.
