Making New Friends - FurReal Friends Bootsie

Over the weekend, we added a new cat friend to the house. Her name is Bootsie! OK, so Bootsie may not be a real cat but she sure is lots of fun.

I knew my young daughter would love to play with Bootsie, but I was also curious as to how my cats would react to her.

FurReal Friends Bootsie moves and makes several different cat noises. She has fun expressions that can delight kids as they discover what makes her happy, surprised, excited, shy, and even sometimes mad. If you wave the fish-shaped sushi treat in front of her, she will make munching sounds. Bootsie even has facial expressions to match her mood. FurReal Friends Bootsie is a really cool toy for kids (or adults - I won't judge) that love cats.

Yes, my daughter loves her new FurReal Friends toy. She was super excited when I first showed it to her, and she's been playing with Bootsie every day.

The cats don't seem to mind Bootsie being around. Callie could care less about the toy. Roadside feels the same way but he did try to groom her as you can see in the video below. I think Bootsie might have appreciated the kind gesture.
