Dog Food You Can Trust From Stella & Chewy's

This post is sponsored by Stella & Chewy's. Pawsitively Pets only shares information we feel is relevant to our readers. All thoughts and opinions are our own.

As a dog mom, I seek to provide my dog with the best care that I'm able to. I give her toys, comfortable places to rest, baths, love, and of course, good food. Finding a dog food you can trust can be a battle for many dog parents. Fortunately, I've found a dog food that both Shiner and I love from a brand that I trust - Stella & Chewy's®.

A few weeks ago, I mentioned a surprise announcement on social media. That announcement is that Pawsitively Pets is now a proud brand ambassador for Stella & Chewy's! Shiner is pleased because she loves their dog food. She's even been able to try a few new to her flavors recently like the Stella & Chewy's Absolutely Rabbit Dinner Patties. This food comes in the shape of a patty and is freeze-dried dog food.

About Stella & Chewy's®

I'm excited because Stella & Chewy's is a trustworthy brand. Their slogan is "Only the Good Stuff®". It's quite evident that they truly care about the products they create for our furry family members.

They believe that dogs thrive when fed the same diet as they would find in the wild. Stella & Chewy's is made with grass-fed meat, cage-free poultry, and wild-caught fish. They believe in and only use organic fruits and vegetables in their products.

Stella & Chewy's offers freeze-dried and frozen raw diets for both cats and dogs, as well as meal toppers and treats. All of Stella & Chewy's products are made at an FDA-inspected plant in metro Milwaukee, Wisconsin. They use a patented SecurebyNature® food safety process, which is actually pretty interesting.

A key feature of the SecurebyNature® food safety process is HPP or High Pressure Processing. All Stella & Chewy's products are cold pressed, using a lot of water pressure. In fact, the water pressure is equivalent to the bottom of the ocean where harmful bacteria cannot survive. HPP gets rid of harmful bacteria and pathogens without using heat. With this method, the food is able to preserve more of its original texture, color, flavor, and nutrition. The HPP process is 100% natural and recognized by the FDA and USDA as an anti-pathogen treatment.

On top of all of that, they go through a lot of testing procedures to make sure their food is safe to eat before being shipped out and sold in the stores. You can learn more about how Stella & Chewy's is made HERE.

Stella & Chewy's also offers plenty of variety. Protein options for dogs include:

  • Beef
  • Chicken
  • Goose
  • Lamb
  • Pheasant
  • Rabbit
  • Venison
  • Turkey

And cats - don't worry... you can get in on some delicious Stella & Chewy's action too. Kitten Roadside especially loves their Dinner Morsels for cats.

All of these factors and more play into our being able to trust Stella & Chewy's foods and treats. If you're unfamiliar with the company, I invite you to learn more about them on their website. You can also follow Stella & Chewy's on Facebook and Twitter

  2. Oh, you know I love Stella and Chewy's! We always have a bag of the Absolute Rabbit dinner patties in the house because Stella and Chewy's is one of the few brands that can get their paws on rabbit! We are so happy for you and Shiner being an ambassador for such a good, healthy brand of dog food.
