Introducing Goldeen the Goldfish. |
I got Lily (my daughter) a Black Moor Goldfish when she was much younger and she lived for a long time. Her name was Dori.
Dori, our Black Moor Goldfish. |
In case you were wondering the inspiration behind my daughter's name for her new goldfish, it's a pokemon. Our Goldeen doesn't have a horn like the pokemon, but we still think she's pretty cute.

I also wanted to let you all know that I should be transferring Pawsitively Pets to a self-hosted WordPress site very soon. You may notice that this site will be reverted back to mypawsitivelypets.blogspot.com. Hoping everything goes smoothly!
Goldeen is very pretty. I'd love to have a few fish, but I don't have a decent place to put an aquarium.
ReplyDeleteI know, I would love to have a large aquarium but I also don't have a good place for one. I only have room for a small on that's probably only fit for one or 2 fish.
Delete:-D I completely see the similarities between the two Goldeens!! Nice name choice!! We don't do fish...they remind Domeek of dental offices! ;-) Hehehe! Good luck with the self hosting change over!
ReplyDeletegreat name!
ReplyDeleteHi Goldeen. Good luck with your site move. We hope it goes without a hitch. Have a fabulous Furday.
ReplyDeleteBest wishes Molly

Oh wow! I have heard they can live for a very long time - that is amazing!
DeleteI've had large aquariums at times, but these days I limit myself to a beta...There's something so peaceful and meditative about watching fish
ReplyDeleteBettas are so beautiful too!

I like Goldeen , we are pondering about a small pond in my back yard for goldfishes... I think that's a great idea... :o)
ReplyDeleteCute. I had fish for years and always enjoyed them.
ReplyDeleteI used to love the Black Moors as a child. I had a few of them but their eyes kinda creep me out now. :) Congrats on the blog move too! Can't wait to see how it turns out! Weeeeeeee!!!!!!!!!

Hope the move goes well :) I won a goldfish at the fair when I was little, they are not allowed to have them for prizes anymore.. Have a super duper Easter xx00xx

Gotta catch 'em all! My ducks would positively LOVE Goldeen.
ReplyDeleteAs kids we never had goldfish, but we had hundreds of tropical fish .. they kept having babies!! Happy Easter :)
ReplyDeleteI bet your daughter is enjoying Goldeen. I am sure it is fun having a fish. Hope you have a great week end.
ReplyDeleteCute! When I was a teacher, we always had a goldfish or two in the classroom (along with a box turtle, a newt, a couple of fiddler crabs, a parakeet, some hermit crabs, and occasionally a hamster, some tadpoles till they turned to frogs, and caterpillars till they turned to butterflies).
ReplyDeleteGoldeen is very pretty! And yes, I know Pokemon pretty well, since my nephew was very into it when he was little. :)
ReplyDeleteGood luck with transferring the blog over!
Hehe.. I'm a bit embarrassed to say that I know how to play ;) I think I know pokemon a little too well lol.
DeleteGoldeen would be great entertainment for us!
ReplyDeleteYum, what a tasty, er good tasting, er looking goldfish.
ReplyDeleteI love fish, they are so peaceful and relaxing to watch. Good luck with the move.

ReplyDeleteGoldeen is a beautiful fish! Good luck with your new little fin friend! Charmaine and Kitty Kanteen
ReplyDeleteThe gold fish is sure a beautiful color! Happy Easter Ann...
ReplyDeleteHi Golden!! We hope you are enjoying your new home.
ReplyDeleteThe last fishie we had was a white betta named Angel. Sadly, hers did not live very long. Hers was very pretty. Mommy wants to get a bigger/better fishie tank and get more fishes someday. We loves watching the fishes swim...Carmine even peaked over the side of the tank when mommy cleaned and changed the water in the tank! MOL.

Carmine, Milita, and Jewel
Just came by to catch me a fishie... :D
ReplyDeleteGoldeen is not a goldfish...she is a red fish ;)
ReplyDeleteCute fishes. I never have fish before, but my father had them once.
We will be waiting for you at Wordpress :) it's much easier for us to comment
Goldeen sure is pretty!
ReplyDeleteHope all goes well with the switch-over!
Again, I've learned something from you blog...I didn't know ick could stick around so long in an aquarium. I finally stopped keeping fish because of that too. Good luck with Goldeen! She's gorgeous and GOOD LUCK with the move!
