Not only did Shiner try the chicken jerky, but I did as well. Yep, I took a nice sized bite because I felt safe eating them. And they were pretty tasty too.
Nudges takes pride in ensuring their chicken jerky chews for dogs are safe to eat. Here's what I learned about Nudges while we were testing them out.
- All of the ingredients in Nudges are FDA and AAFCO approved.
- The chicken used in their dog jerky chews are hatched and raised in the USA. The treats are made in Indedependence, Iowa.
- Every batch of Nudges treats are tested for safety before being shipped out.
- Nudges have never been associated with any recalls and have never been taken off the market for safety issues.
- Nudges dog jerky treats are easy to find. They are sold at Wal-mart and Kroger stores, as well as other retailers. They have a handy store locator that can help you find where to purchase their treats too.
- They taste good and the dog loves them!
- Most importantly, they are safe to feed my dog.
Shiner gives Nudges four paws up. She was literally trying to tug her jerky treat out of my hand while I was trying to take a photo of her. Of course, what dog doesn't like chicken jerky treats?
All in all, I feel good about giving Shiner these treats. I can tell that Nudges really cares about the kind of products they are putting out there. Plus, it's not always easy to find high quality and safe dog treats at Wal-mart. I shop there more than I'd like to, and being able to find safe dog treats there will make my life a little bit easier.
We just saw those and thought they look great and we bet they are yummy.
ReplyDeleteHave a serene Sunday and get in some big easy today Ann.
Best wishes Molly
They were pretty yummy Molly!
DeleteI wanted to try them too; they smelled so good. I have to keep on my boyfriend to seal up the bag, because the dogs just hang in the kitchen by the treat counter when it's left open. They love them.
ReplyDeleteThanks for doing a taste test!!!
Shiner knows where her treats are and if she sees me headed over there she will come running! Tasting dog stuff seems scary but I really had no apprehensions about doing it.
DeleteI try to only buy products made in Canada or the US for the dogs. Thanks for sharing. Lee and Phod
ReplyDeleteSafe and yum is the purrfect combination!
ReplyDeletethey look good!
ReplyDeleteYou tried it too? LOL! Thanks for this review,Maybe they have it in our stores too, sadly the most we have are "made in china" and I better don't buy it. Have a super sunday :o)
ReplyDeleteI did! I try a lot of Shiner's treats actually :)
DeleteThey are yummy, but my human didn't try them like you did. I am glad my human didn't try them, this way there are more for me! BOL! Was Shiner jealous that you ate part of her treat?
ReplyDeleteHugs,
Pepper
Shiner may have been slightly jealous, but only because I tried the treats before she did! ;)
DeleteThey are so tasty, just that bag didn't hold nearly enough jerky in our dog opinion!
ReplyDeleteBOL I was kind of surprised when I opened it. It seemed like an awful lot of jerky in there for such a small bag!
DeleteGood review, stay well away from that Chinese rubbish.
ReplyDeleteSheba.
I don't love WalMart in general, but I'm going to go there to get some of these for the dogs!
ReplyDeleteSame here, but it's where I do a lot of shopping. It's about 5 minutes away from my house.
DeleteLooks pretty yummy to me!
ReplyDeleteAll right Ann!! You tried it too! I love it!! My two girlz just love Nudges!! xo Jeanne, Chloe and LadyBug

ReplyDeleteMollie and Alfie
Ok.. I'm glad I'm not the only one that tastes her dog's treats. I figure, I better be willing to eat it myself if I'm giving it to her :) Thanks for the review!
ReplyDeleteHehe - yes sometimes I do try some of her treats! I tried a different one yesterday because they just smelled so good!
DeleteThose look yummy!
ReplyDeleteAwesome! Kayo loves Nudges too...as do I! ;0)
