And what is more JOYFUL than a couple of pet rats enjoying a clean cage complete with fresh boxes to shred and chew up?
Jack is pleased with his new selection of boxes and houses.
Gus is pleased as well! I wanted to use my good camera to take some pictures of the boys, but it kept telling me that my card was damaged and it can't read it... so we had the good ol' phone camera as backup. It's definitely more of a challenge using a phone camera to take pictures of rats with!
Now, for some other snapshots from the week. Wednesday was National Dress Up Your Pet Day. Much to Shiner's dismay, she donned a pair of reading glasses along with a knit infinity scarf. I personally thinks she looks pretty sophisticated!

On Friday, Shiner got a few extra treats from her little human sisfur who likes to pretend like she's a dog too. I guess doing doggy stuff is fun.
And yesterday, after getting a nice clean cage Joyful Jack decided to practice his trapeze artist skills.

ReplyDeleteI agree, Shiner looks super sophisticated, she's one smart gal. I'm happy to say I've been talking with one of my coworkers lately whose been looking into getting his daughters a pet and I think I convinced him that a couple of rats is the way to go :) I had a lot of small critters growing up and rats were by far the best little companions of them all.
