One of my favorite holidays is Halloween and maybe it's because I love the idea of dressing up. And because I love dressing up, I'm one of those people that likes to dress up their pets too. One of my favorite line of pet products and clothing is from Martha Stewart Pets. We've tried several of Martha's Fall sweaters and dog toys in the past.
You can find the new Martha Stewart Pets Fall Collection at PetSmart. We were at PetSmart not too long ago and had fun browsing everything in the collection. Of course, the Fall Collection features several Halloween-themed items including costumes.
Shiner is ready for Halloween in her own new dog sweater from Martha Stewart Pets. Shiner likes wearing sweaters when the weather gets cooler, because she has short fur and gets cold easily.
It can sometimes be difficult to find cute clothes that fit her, but Martha Stewart Pets dog sweaters always fit her well. They give her plenty of room in the neck and chest. She wears an X-Large. (Shhh don't tell her I gave out her clothing size online!) This skull and crossbones dog sweater has a slit near the neck to slip a collar and leash through for convenience, which I like.
Shiner also LOVES Martha Stewart Pets Dog toys! We got a rope toy last Spring that still lives today, and Shiner is very pleased to have a new one for Halloween.
This one seems much tougher than the last one. Shiner has chewed on it for about an hour or so and it's still in good condition and completely intact.
Martha Stewart Pets also makes the cutest plush toys for dogs. Sometimes, they are so cute I don't want to give them to the dog! While they don't usually last too long with Shiner, she loves her plush toys. I like giving them to her every now and then so she can have a little bit of fun with them.
See what I mean? Adorable. After a short cuddle session with this cute plush mouse toy, Shiner destroyed him. I was sad, but she had a very fun time doing it. She'll play with his stuff-less body for several weeks, more than likely.
While we do not have any to share with you today, Martha Stewart Pets also carries a lot of cute and fun-looking Halloween toys for cats. We'll have to pick something up for Callie next time we're at PetSmart!
You can browse the full Fall Collection from Martha Stewart Pets online at PetSmart.
We received free products in exchange for a blog post sharing our opinions of these products.
The last time my human went to PetSmart I came along, and I steered her far, far away from the Halloween costumes!
ReplyDeleteYour sweater is so cute :-) SUGAR is obsessed with her new toy ... I'm afraid she''s going to rip it soon (I need to take more photos). The cats selections are so cute :-) Enjoy, Shiner. Golden Woofs
ReplyDeleteShiner has been playing with all of hers a lot too. She's finally getting the rope toy apart, but it's doing pretty good for her so far.
DeleteShiner your sweater rocks... I would wear it even after or before howl-o-ween... it's the perfect piece for fall :o)
ReplyDeleteShiner you are just too cute! Mom is going to try and have more fun with Halloween this year but she knows better than making me wear a costume, but now there's Taffy. Love Dolly
ReplyDeleteI saw a picture of you wearing a t-shirt yesterday, Dolly!

ReplyDeleteWe got that all bark no bite shirt and it is flipping adorable on him. I use the water bowls as candy bowls for treats.
ReplyDeleteAw! That's a cute idea for the bowls too. I love those bowls :)
DeleteThose are soooo cool!
ReplyDeletehave a super Wednesday...
Noodle and crew
We saw those displays at PetSmart. Some real cute stuff.
ReplyDeleteUh oh! The mom says she's heading to PetSmart to see if she can get us some Halloween costumes.
ReplyDeleteI haven't had time to think about a theme for Halloween, so I think I'm going in the closet and pulling out an old classic - stay tuned.
ReplyDeleteBefore Luke came along, I rarely put any kind of clothing on the dogs. But he really likes it, and like Shiner, has very short fur so we'll be getting his sweaters out again soon. I wish we had a PetSmart closer by so I could look at Halloween costumes too. It's too tough to see the sizes online (I'm sure he's an XL like Shiner though). I did order them all some Halloween bandanas though!
ReplyDeleteI think Luke might be a bit bigger than Shiner? Not sure. Shiner weighs 55 lbs, and I think she could fit into this sweater if she were about 5 pounds or so bigger. Bandanas are nice! I should get more of those for Shiner.
DeleteMartha Stewart has a great line for pets! I love her collars and leashes.
