OK, so I know that most of you are probably thinking "Oh no he didn't!" when you read the title of this post. According to the MTV Buzzworthy Blog, last week, famous singer Usher purchased a Goldendoodle puppy for a whopping $12,000! Yes, you heard that right.He purchased the lucky new pup at the Pencils of Promise Gala in New York. The proceeds go to charity and will help fund the building of new schools in third world countries. Phew! Glad to hear this large sum of money spent on a designer breed dog is going to benefit someone.
Usher seemed ecstatic to have won the bid on the pup. Last year at the Gala, he bid on a puppy but did not win. The family that did win ended up naming the dog "Usher".

What an adorable puppy!! I'm so happy that this was all in the name of charity and not crazy puppy mill prices :-) Congrats to Usher, he looks ecstatic!
